Husband has a Jetta TDI and now wants a Touareg TDI (I don't blame him, they are really nice). Joined because I thought this would be a great information resource center - especially since we are debating using my car for the trade! :-({|= Any thoughts on the process, and negotiating tricks would be appreciated.

Welcome! Run your own numbers on the trade, but I wouldn't trade a TDI. I would sell it private party if you need to to free up funds.
