Not sure if this is the right place to post, but could not find any other postings for this unit.
I have just installed One of these units in my 2009 Touareg, and overall I am pleasantly surprised at how good it is but I am having a few problems that some one may be able to help me with.
Some background on the unit:
For touareg 2004 to 2011, A9 1.6G Cortex Dual core Processor, 1Gb memory, built in Wifi, 800 x 480 but can also get 1024 *600.
The unit comes with Torque professional installed and connects to OBDII (ELM327) via Bluetooth.
The unit supports mirror link for mobile phone as well as Bluetooth phone connection.
Unit also supports steering wheel controls.
Firstly the radio sound quality is excellent, I would say better than the original radio.
I have connected a reversing camera and it works well.
The unit comes with Igo 9 which loads fast and works well, so to my problems:
1. When I turn the car off and remove the key, the unit stays on. I connected the unit using the standard harness, no additional wiring done.
2. The unit is supposedly capable of running TomTom. When I try and access the software from google play I get a compatibility error with Rockchip Rk30sdk. I have no idea on how to overcome this.
3. I can only get the volume up / down buttons working on the steering wheel.
4. I cannot connect the ODBii and my phone via Bluetooth. Both devices are discoverable and the unit is supposed to allow multiple Bluetooth connections.
Has anyone have any ideas or suggestions. I have contacted supplier, but they have not gotten back to me.
