Hey guys, I just picked up a really sweet 2010 Touareg TDI!! Not my first TDI but my first Treg.

It's the Sapphire Blue with two tone white/black leather.
Fully loaded, with air suspension, dyna audio, and technology package.

Has about 86k miles on it. I need to figure out what maint needs to be done. But tires and oil change are on the list.

Buying tires this week, what is the consensus for going up to a 275/45/20?

Tires are a lot cheaper in that size. And you get more miles out of a higher profile.

Also my speedo is off 5mph, so that would prolly do it haha.

My old Touareg had 20" wheels and I went with 275/45-20 instead of the 275/40-20 and enjoyed the better ride with a higher profile tire. More selection and better price too.

I think I'm going to go with this Pirelli has the highest tread ware rating. The tread ware alone jumps 100-150 points just in the size of the tire, not sure what that translates to mileage wise, but I'm sure it's worth it
