Hi Guys,
I'm hoping one of you might be able to help me. I have an 08 V6, and got the outer double bar red warning light on the dash front parking assistance display tonight. I scanned the truck with vagcom and I get the following error message:
00434 - Left Front Inner Parking Aid Sensor (G332)
009 - Open or Short to Ground
I tried to clear the code, but it keeps coming back, so I assume that means the sensor is done.
Can anyone confirm for me if this is the front drivers side sensor located closest to the center of the bumper? If so, do I have to remove the entire bumper to get to it, or can I replace it by removing the front skid plate under the car, or the fog light surround?
Does anyone know how much the sensor should cost? I assume these do not come painted, so I will have to get that done as well.
