Miles driven mean as much as time. 80 - 100k and they start to fail. 100 was always the target life, very hard to meet. Newer batteries are making it happen.
 
Tire pressure will change about one pound for each ten degrees of temp change. That's up and down. If your tires were 40 lbs at 70 they will be 35 at 20 degrees.
 
While your at it, take out the seat belts, disconnect the anti lock brakes, put in regular window glass, and any other safety device you can think of. These sensors save lives as well as fuel. Be glad to have them.
