Intermittent Dimming of Overhead Compass Module

I read in posts from March that this is a common problem with TRegs (I have it -- my first "bug" after 1500+ miles!)

(For those who don't know about it: at night, the overhead compass backlight keeps switching from bright to dim at intermittent intervals.)

Have there been any solutions from VW since March?

I had mine replaced. Still does it but perhaps less often
