Hi,

Could someone please provide me with the pinout of the ignition switch for a 2008 3.0 TDI CASA engine code from ELSA or anywhere else?

Looking forward for a picture or something..

In theory there isn't an actual ignition switch, per se. The entire process is handled by module 05-Access/Start Authorization. When you turn the key, the "ignition switch" sends a signal to the 05 module asking if it's OK to turn on the ignition or start the engine.

I can get you a pinout in a bit. What are you trying to accomplish?

I try to retrofit an aftermarket PKE system with start/stop button. I saw some videos on youtube with this beeing done and I also retrofited this to my other 4 cars.

But with those was easier since the ignition switch was mechanical. Maybe i can bypass the immo in such a way that the engine will start with this system instead of the turn of the key

If you want to install a keyless engine start/stop button, you can very easily retrofit the factory button. You basically need the button and wiring harness. Then drill a hole in the shifter trim, install the buttons, and wire up the button to the 05 module under the dash. The link explains it all.

I don't have kessy module in my car. That installation will require door handles and antennas to work.
