I would also check for water on drivers floor.
Check wiring. To access battery properly, pivot drivers seat backwards all the way after disconnecting seat, airbag, etc…
If battery voltage is too low, it will give you gremlin errors on the dash. Needs to be higher than 12.5 Vdc.
If you can’t get it out of park. It could also be brake pedal switch/relay or relay under centre console which releases the shift lever after you press your foot on the brake!
