I have a problem of electricity consumption in my touareg bks 2007.
When I park the car for about 3 days later, I have trouble starting it.
I comment equipped to help, the car has a CD radio, no browser. It carries alarm in series. It has no air suspension.
I had to tear it off with a bosster.
I have been told that it can be from the radio.
Do you know if it is a common fault?
Thank you

I have this problem with my 2007 V8 and I believe it is caused by the short in my keyless doors. My touch to open has been out for 6 years. Mine goes down 12 to 15 % battery per day. I charge the battery every 5 days. I have been told this charging is bad for the battery.

You can disable the kessey system by removing the door panels and unplugging the actual handles.
Then under the dash to the right of the steering wheel right by the center console, you can find the kessey module. Pull it out and you'll see 2 mosfets, you'll want to clip the soldered connections for both. There will be 2 on each mosfet to clip.
I did mine last year as well as fixed 3 corroded factory connections near the driver's side kick panel.
No more battery drain.
I'll look for pics I took of the kessey module after clipping the mosfets.

I can't actually find the pics of the kessey module, but these are the corroded connections that I believe started my problems.

This problem reminds me about the One I had with my Touareg but with a hybrid one. I had to charge it from time to time and my charging adapter brake all the time. I started to wonder why is that happening to me all the time and how can I manage it. It was really interesting to me. To be honest, I am not a specialist in that field and I thought it would be a charger issue, but a friend of mine told me that, this could happen because of the power surges. And he was totally right as I had to change a lot of bulbs in my house from time to time. I thought it would be nice to change my supplier as the old one was too bad for me. My friend told me I can easily use the usave service for that. I introduced my postal code and the only one thing left to was to choose from the available suppliers in my area. They took care about the rest. Fast and easy, now I don't have any issue
