I have engaged the auto recirc button (the recirc button with the letter A and an arrow circling around it as an image) for starters, so lets get that out of the way. When you shift the Touareg into reverse, the climate control automatically turns on the Recirculation feature, right? Well I could of swore mine used to do that, but now when I shift into reverse, I can't hear any changes in the tone/sound of the air! That said, when I manually press THE OTHER recirculation button(the one without the letter A and arrow circling it), you can hear it going to recirculation mode.
I also can't hear it going into recirculation mode when I spray the windshield fluid for what it's worth, although that doesn't bother me as much, and quite frankly, never did test that feature in the past. But it does bother me that I could of swore it used to auto recirc in reverse and now it doesn't! Is it my imagination?
BTW, the right outside mirror does swing downward when shifting into reverse, so that feature is seemingly STILL intact.
Any ideas?
