Just thought I would say hi, just joined - have a 2013 TDI and have been real happy with it so far. Have to look at getting new tires this year and figured I would come out here and see what everyone is doing, and what works (as well as what does not).
Mainly highway driving but have a pretty significant incline on a gravel driveway that I need to be able to navigate, and this year I actually had an instance where the vehicle did not make it up. I realize that lack of tread is the biggest problem since last year I had no problems. Not sure if I want to go with a designated summer/winter tire sets, or just an AT. Am leaning towards a dedicated summer/winter sets since I do like the smooth ride and performance of the tires that are on there now (they are the stock tires at this point).
Anyway - will be looking about and asking questions. See ya!

With my other original SUV I have 2 sets of rims & tires - wide larger ones for the summer and meaty ones for the winter.
