I get my Vag com cable in two days and I wanted to know how to do the Transmission ROW mod. If someone could post the instructions on how to set it up that would be amazing.

As a side question has there been a conclusion on whether or not lowering the air suspension by 1 inch (25MM) would mess up the cambers.

In the coding, delete the last two digits (the "16") and type in "00" in its place. It's as easy as that.

Great, thank you very much! I excited to do this because since getting my 2005 touareg I have noticed a small jolt in some gears.
If I do this do I still need to ask the VW dealership for a transmission flash? What does the flash cost?

The coding will help it a little, but won't make it better. You more then likely have a valve body going out in the tranny. Does it exhibit arough 4-5 shift? If so that is the valve body and the coding won't fix it. There were software updates for the tranny as well. You need to check if it was performed on that vehical.

It's more when on 1 and 2, and it may just be my imagination,because of how it shifts, sometimes there's no sense to it. It's not really as smooth as I'd hope. So with the transmission update will the dealership charge me?

Software update is from the dealer only. Can't do that yourself since you can't get access to it at all. It was a TSB on the older T1 trannys. You just need to go to the dealer to see if it was ever performed.
