Ok so ive got a 7p the more powerfull 180kw version and i have a enclosed car trailer that will be towing a supercharged 555 BBC hot rod.
So heavy motor, light car 1100-1200kg trailer is about the same so lets say loaded up its 2.5T can/will weigh it at work.
My idea is put trailer on level ground load hot rod in trailer unhitch then do i simply shuffle car forward/back till i have 200-250kg on the towball, using one of tow ball weight gauges. Mark in car where hot rod will go. Remove then bolt up my wheel stops/ Lock and load vehicle tie down point so car will always stop against wheel stops.
Trailer will be at travel weight which means throwing the tool box/spares in there ect ect.
I then use my adjustable hitch to make sure i tow it level.
Dont want it to tail heavy where she gets a death wobble. should i be aiming for a towball weight
Is there a better way to do it considering trailer is 5.2m long body then draw bar
