I assume the "fix" was done by the dealership (it was a single-owner 48-month lease return), but I would like to confirm before looking into getting an ECU tune/TCM revert. Can this be determined without VCDS?
When the dealership did the "fix" they put a TDI RECALL PROOF OF COMPLETION label under my hood. Throwing away money at the fuel pump, is what you are doing now. Also, a car that's missing about 20% of the torque it had before from 1300 to 2000 rpms. Thanks!
I have the same sticker. Kinda glad I don't know what I'm missing.
Do a transmission reset. It's DIY, takes 10 seconds and costs nothing.
