the glass opened when the new owner picked it up and opened it to put stuff in the back!
I'm a bit surprised not many people use the glass hatch, it is one of the most useful feature the Treg has over our Q7.
Our Q7's tail gate lifts up too high and collide with the garage door when open (and depending where the treg is parked it also has the same issue, and it really bugs me that I can't get home, and put away the shopping in one move. Does no one else finds the below happens:
- If garage door is closed, there is not enough room to open the tailgate;
- If the garage door is open, then an open tailgate collides with the garage door;
IMO, on top of all the other hassles, these surprises really adds to the overall 'bad' ownership experience for me. I should have took it as an omen when within 2 days of owning it the windscreen fogged up <from the outside>, and the dealer said it was a 'feature'. I'm convinced, VW is really the people's car, i.e. to have a good experience, get the high volume Golf, anything else is just a bad experiment. Prediction, just wait for all the tradies and their Amaroks to jump up an down when they experience the VW experience.
