hello , so my 2005 touareg jerks while switching from gears 3 to 4 . It starts of as soft jerks then it gets worse one time it actually got stuck in 4th gear. another thing it doesnt pick up when i press the acceleration . i really don't know what the issue is . is anyone having the same problem?

Try a gearbox reset.
Turn the ignition on. Do NOT start the car.
Press the accelerator pedal firmly to the floor and hold it there for a full 10 seconds.
Release the pedal.
Turn the ignition off and remove the key.
The gearbox is now back to factory settings and will learn how you drive the car.
This may, or may not, make a difference: regardless, it's free!
Turn the ignition on. Do NOT start the car.
