Yea, I know this is the General Discussion forum, not the Suggestion forum.... but I'm allowed :wink:

Please tell me -

What do you like about Club Touareg - the concept/site/etc?
What don't you like?

What can I and your humble (and much appreciated) moderator Trent (who posts by the name azlinbackr) do to make this place better for everyone?

Aside from the monthly promotions, what can we do to encourage everyone to post more frequently and become more involved?

Any suggestions, criticism, outrage, rants, thought-provoking insight, harsh comments, etc. are totally welcome. Short messages, long messages, anything. Please give us feedback.

Mike,
I think your site is pretty darn good as it is. Very easy to follow and well organized. I think as more people get some time with there Touaregs they will have more to write about. So far I think that the majority know what a great vehicle they have, and that those that have had problems and were willing to share them with us make us all a little smarter. I'm looking forward to learn more about working on my Treg so I guess if I have a suggestion it would be to add a "wrenching" topic for all to share in. Wouldn't it be great if a real VW mechanic could answer our questions and possible offer help to us willing but not experienced do it your selfers.
Please keep up the good work and know that we all appreciate you great site.

I read several Touareg/VW groups, but this is the only one I post on. Most of the groups have hardly any activity, and the other Touareg forum that is active just doesn't seem quite as friendly as this one. I love talking about my new car, and who better to do that with than other folks who feel the same way .
One thing I wish we could do here (and maybe we can and I just haven't figured it out yet!) is go from one message to the next without going back to the index. Is that possible?

At the top of each page, above the first message, there are two links on the right side:

That should do what you're looking for.

in reply to your question, IMHO, I would follow the thread that one of the other fellows posted about sending info to VW to inform them of the issues, with the twist of having a VW rep maybe being a participant on the site to answer questions, communicate promotions, and service bullitans ? maybe a " Ask the VW guy" section. Also, having an online survay ( zoomerang type) to see what people like/dislike about the site and their treg's. I for one love the content posted and i actually used this site to help me make my decission on my purchase.
