Help me build the baddest 2014 TDI-Egg in the U.S. of A.

SO, I own an exotic food distributing company in the state of Florida, and am completely obsessed with my (semi-new) 2014 Touareg TDI Executive. I've decided to give it a complete makeover and have it be the unofficial mascot for my company. We primarily sell fresh Truffles, so I'm debadging all VW emblems and dubbing it my "WHITE TRUFFLE". So far, I've managed to get an off-roading LED light company to sponsor the lighting and a local body shop to sponsor any body work I want done. In a fairy-tale world, I'd like to have someone with the skills of a member on here by the name of "Alex Gee". (That guy has skills for days, so it seems!)

I'm uploading some pics of what I've managed to accomplish so far with the exterior of the vehicle. I also have a JL Audio W7 12" in the trunk, along with JL Components in all the doors. Please help me come up with ideas and sources on what and who I should try and work with to modify my toy!
At first, I wanted a grill guard but after learning there aren't any out there. I've decided to look into having a unibody roll cage spot-welded across the entire vehicle, I'm also game to look into any engine/chip mods available.
+WHATEVER else you guys can help me come up with!
Please advise Egg-Fans!
Thanks in advance for your time and consideration!
"The FunGuy".

Depends on what you consider important.

if its cosmetics you might want to buy a complete setup from these guys:
http://www.caractere.com/index/catalog/brand/1/model/8/version/21
or
Hofele Design | Tuning and Styling for VW Touareg II (7P) | Car body & Design

If you want to impress the die hards on this site, cosmetics alone won't do it. You may want to chase down a V8 TDI engine and drop that into your ride...without a doubt doing that would make it the baddest ass Touareg on this side of the planet.

Had the entire front painted body-color, check!

Had the rear VW taken completely off/shaved-check!

Light bar in the lower grill up front, awesome.

Work in-progress.

Well, I was in what we South Floridians call a "snowbird sandwich". In-which I was rear ended, and then sent plowing into the vehicle in front of me. Instead of having the body shop repair/replace everything OEM, I figured I'd start with the modifications there. Worked out great, ended up not really costing me any additional money. I agree with the whole cosmetics not impressing. Cosmetics will be secondary only to the mechanical performance I intend on beefing up on this Egg. Being that I drive 30-40k miles/year, sourcing a V8 TDI within the next few years will be perfect and I will absolutely take you up on that idea. First I think I should burn through the brand new V6 TDI that's in it while simultaneously prepping the rig the be put to the test for when the day comes where I find that monster of a diesel engine to do the swap. I will likely never sell this thing so depreciation is a non-issue as well. Ultimately, I'll end up passing down to my son in approximately 8 years so that he can have the coolest ride in school.

With all that being said, I think a healthy next step would be to find out how to give it a little bit of a lift. I've got 15k miles on it already (got in new 6 months ago). I'd like to get the lift done by the time the stock tires wear out and replace them with meatier ones at that time. What do you guys think/know about that part of an upgrade? I also would like to put some protection underneath her as well. I've been struggling REALLY hard at finding ANY contacts/makers that fabricate previously mentioned items.

Thanks for the links, those are some sexy looking Eggs! Although, if I was going to go for the sport-road look, I'd probably have gotten the Audi or Cayenne. This baby will be destined for off-road festivities above all else. Here are some photo's of a Touareg I found on the internets that give off the overall appearance I'm trying to accomplish. I feel everything on it is prime for what I want to do (less the oversized roof-rack). I'll put a roof-rack on mine, just don't think I need one THAT big...

Thanks again for your input, happy to meet you guys!

You need to start with wheels, I'm sure you know.

Get a light bar up on the roof.

Put in some sweet functional, ,hood scoops as well.

Custom fenders to add to the girth, to go along with the wheels . . . to start.

A lift will be custom spacers on the shock towers for a 2014. Installing a factory air suspension (available as an option everywhere except North America) could be done if you could source the parts. It would be extremely involved.

Light bar will go on roof once I find someone to spot weld a roll-cage around the body. "functional hoodscoops"? I mean, I know what hood-scoops are... But is that necessary? Do these things have a history of overheating? Maybe I'm not thinking that through all the way because I haven't really taken it off the pavement yet... I know nothing about wheels, any particular brands stand out above the rest for you guys? I was actually thinking of just having the stock ones sandblasted and then powder-coated in like an anthracite grey, still on the fence with that one though.

I really like the sound of doing the factory air suspension upgrade... I doubt I would have much success in sourcing the parts. To be honest, the mechanics at my local dealership have already (all) told me I'm going to be their "guinea pig" on this model because they saw how many miles I racked on the Passat TDI I traded it in on. There's literally nobody around that would have the slightest knowhow to do a quality install where I would feel comfortable driving for the next 1 million miles on. So this Alex Gee guy worked on the T1's and T2's, where mine is a newer style? Therefore there may be a great chance he's not only never worked on my specific model, but would not be able to make anything for my vehicle on the fly? Fantastic. I almost thought I had a chance at having a lot of fun in 2016 with the "White Truffle"...

Looking at some of the stuff Alex gee has fabricated, I dare say if it can be done he could do it, he seems to know his way round a engineering / fabrication workshop better than most. That said, I am not sure he is stil on the forum much.

Good luck though, Nothing like an ambitious upgrade project to stretch the mind and wallet.

If you get no response give me a shout and i can be a conduit to get the ball rolling with any serious stuff you would like addressed

And yes .... Sydneytreg.... Alex is by trade a professional custom design fabricator .... not to mention his knowledge of the treg

sing out Flo and i'll get through to Alex. Just let me know. I virtually just live down the street from him so all i can do is let him know someone needs his services

Actually, I sent him a message here on ClubToaureg.com, I also sent him an eMail at an eMail address he listed on another thread for another post inquiring on potentially utilizing him for my upcoming project(s). I can always have the local boys do the work, but would rather not since (like I mentioned in a comment earlier), I fully intend on driving this badass SUV to the grave, and then resurrecting her with a new spirit (V8 TDI). Is there any chance my 2014 engine bay would even be able to house the V10 TDI, if I were able to get my hands on one of those suckers?

How epic would that be!?

i sold him my Toyota Landcruiser FJ73. It had been in storage for well over 10 years and i knew i would never get the chance (family .... wife etc) to do what i had always dreamt of which is exactly what he is doing now
sent him an SMS just now to check if he got it.... got a feeling he already went away for the holidays

On trying to retrofit factory air suspension....forget it. It would be less costly to sell your Touareg and buy a Cayenne diesel with air suspension.

It won't fit a V10. Itll fit a V8 TDI. The V8 is much more powerful, lighter and smoother than the V10 could ever hope to be. So in reality V8TDI>V10TDI in every aspect ie:

V10 = 313hp, 553tq PD technology (lotta clatter and rough)
V8=385hp, 627tq ( CRD technology no clatter and silky smooth)

The V8 responds better to chip tuning since it uses a 4 valve head vs the V10s archaic 2valve heads

You can get V10 power numbers out of the V6 TDI with a good tune...plus an engine with half the weight. So while the V10 was cool in 2003, its not really relevant in 2015.
Without hood scoops of some kind, all you are going to have is the plainest TDI egg in Florida. So far, you do have the whitest Treg in the USA.

The "off road look" is what you are after? You will need a big, bad grille guard up front, and like the guys keep on their 4x4's that travel the sand, a big rope coiled around it, all the time.

Get that skyjacker jack mounted somewhere too.
