So the other day the treg starts really acting up ...by this I mean undrivable . I take it to the shop they say it's the transmission control assembly they said it was in limp mode ...( I hope not cause u cannot limp any where)... basically the part of floor shifter that connects to trans cable...they inspected the magnets......even tho tiptronic never worked on the vehicle. I always figured it was the magnetic reader board..... So I buy a used floor shifter assembly...it doesn't shift right ... I believe this is mistake in pulling on trans cable ...also does it need to be adjusted to match??
Also after change over I get a TCS and abs light as well as a brake assist fault workshop is this a simultaneous situation?also am I botching this floor shifter switch I did pull on the trans cable​ some

I would expect that the mechanical cable must be adjusted correctly.

There is probably some obscure procedure to do this and you will most likely need VCDS to do it.
