When i purchased my touareg it had an after market stereo and amp in it. So i am getting errors in vcds because of it. It is more of an annoyance than anything but i am trying to learn my around vcds. so what i did was from the gateway list screen I selected 19- CAN - Gateway, when it opened the controller module i selected installation list. in the list i deselected 0F - digital radio, 47 - sound system and 56 - radio. closed that window, selected write code, it accepted it. when i went to fault codes it said invalid coding. so i am at a bit of a loss, where else to look to remove these modules, some guidance would be appreciated.
