I removed driver side head light to put bulb in now the head light doesn’t hold tight not sure what in doing wrong. Vw tourage 2008

Not quite sure what you mean. You removed the headlight from the vehicle?

the bulb went so I have to take the headlight out to change the bulb as it’s the side you can’t get to now I’ve put it back it doesn’t hold in tight does that make sense

 

To be clear, did you remove the headlight assembly to replace the bulb? If so you need to make sure it is in the whole way and flip the release lever back to hold it in.

What is loose the headlight or the bulb?

 

For complete clarity, is the glass across the bottom of your headlight completely straight (i.e. a T1) or does it have a curve in it (i.e. a T2)?

 

Head light is loose I put it back the same way I took it out I’ve gone wrong done where for it to be loose

It has a cure to

 

If I push on the top corner the bottom comes out

 

You are aware there is a locking lever on top of the assembly, correct?

Had that same problem not long ago. For lack of a better description their is Tongue & Grove arrangement on the bottom of the headlight, where the tongue on the bottom of the light need to slot into the grove in the body of the car. Took me plenty of practice goes before I got in in correctly. Then you need to secure the headlight with the locking lever as mentioned above.
