Hi - I did a search and could not find anything on this issue.
The window on my rear hatch keeps unlocking at times. The only way to prevent the window to unlock and open while driving is to hit the lock switch before leaving. It hasn't happened lately but I am sure it will again.
I read a lot about bad soldering contacts on circuit boards of the locking mechanisms so I was thinking this could be related.
Any feedback?

Thanks

I would suggest first of all to eliminate any mechanical issues before going the complicated electrical route..

Close the glass hatch and see if you can manually get it to disengage without hitting the release button. Try tapping and wobbling the hatch handle (rear wiper spindle) and see what happens.

Also, you can open the female part of the locking mechanism to take a look. When you open the hatch, the female part is accessible and has a plastic lid that you can pop open. Take a look and make sure there is nothing stuck or caught in there that might prevent the full insertion of the male part.

Also spray plenty of lubricant into the female parts. It could just be that the male part is not sliding in there tight enough. (If all else fails rub some viagra on the male part. That should sort it out.)

Jesus... I really need to get laid!
