Greetings everyone,

I am Onur from Istanbul, Turkey. Although my profession is technology consulting/project management, I have been interested in VAG group vehicles since childhood. I am particularly fond of large-chassis classic cars. I can attribute this interest to my 1989 C3 Audi 100 2.0TD, which was partly produced with my grandparents' contributions. We are the first owners of the vehicle, and I plan to carry out a fun Quattro conversion project with a 2.5TDI block, 20V head, and 01E 6-speed transmission soon, God willing.

After getting married, I bought a 2006 model 7L to be able to travel comfortably with my dog. Currently, it has less than 200K KM, and it is in excellent condition with a local paint job and a clean interior and exterior. Although I mostly use it for city driving, thanks to remote work, I often test my vehicle in off-road conditions and can say that I am extremely satisfied with it.

If all goes well, I also plan to convert my 7L to an overlander. This way, when I go off the beaten track, I won't have to rush back and aim to make life more enjoyable with my vehicle.

Although I am proficient in mechanical and electrical work, I am continuously improving myself. I do not have a VAG-COM yet, but I might consider acquiring one based on recommendations.

I am delighted to join your community. I aim to benefit from technical content to the fullest and improve myself continuously. I hope to share useful forum content with other users as well.

Going to be interested to see what you come up with for your 2.5 TDI build. Do you have a source for parts yet?
