05 V8 w/ 160,000KM original fluids

Never any issues since day 1..... However there is a very slight "hum" you can hear at low speeds while light on the throttle. I suspect either Diff of transfer case. I plan on putting fresh stuff in very soon, hopefully that will help!

Are you sure this is not a bad front bearing OR even a bad tire(s)?

Anyways, report back here if it ends up going away with the fresh diff oil, which I sadly doubt will help at all, but anything is possible(crossing fingers).
I changed the fluids in the front/rear diffs and transfer case with Amsoil stuff yesterday and the sound seems to have subsided somewhat. Things were smooth before, but now Everything seems silkier than normal. Dont get me wrong, It wasn't a very noticeable hum from the get go......just a mild driveline type noise the everyday ear wouldn't pick up. Maybe my selective hearing is choosing to ignore it in order to validate going through the trouble..... Either way, Im glad I did! The Rear diff gear oil and transfer case ATF were notably filthy.....the front was about what I expected.
