It doesn't plug into anything. It is supposed to be fixed to the side of the engine bay pointing up. Should also have a cap on it to prevent dirt and water getting in.

The air filter housing on the V6 TDI is nearly identical with the 3.6ltr, both have a metal heat shield cover on engine side of the filter.
On the V6 there is a sliding clip on the breather tube and this slides onto the edge of the shield to hold the breather tube vertical so I expect the 3.6 tube is held in the same way.

The cap does not seal the end of the hose. It just keeps debris and direct spray water out.

any volunteers to upload a pic of this breather on the V6 3.2?
I found the part number is 0AA301047M but the picture of the breather on then internet does not look like the hose I have.
Maybe the previous owner replaced it with a standard hose.

That is the correct factory front diff breather hose breather cap and all.


If you do not have one like that it is not std.
