That is why I prefer the title "mechanical technician"
Like Paul Danner aka Scanner Danner says "don't be a parts changer" I like to be able to prove a part is failed, not simply guess.
There's a few good guys out there trying to teach proper approaches.... Scanner Danner, Pine Hollow Diagnostics, Diagnose Dan, etc....
But humans are lazy, and loading up the cannon is way easier than absorbing knowledge and doing it right.

Can confirm..... although I'm only a cook. So there's some wiggle room there
Love watching Diagnose Dan. We think pretty much along the same lines diagnostic wise.
