Greetings all --

I've been lurking for awhile on this forum while I searched for a used Touareg, and have to say that I had a great time even before I joined the VW family !

Last week we bought a used 2009 V6 and have been extremely happy. It's not super-loaded with options, but my theory is that just gives me more opportunity to work on it and make it my own...

This is our first VW, let alone European car -- so I have some learnin' to do.... but so far from what I've seen on this forum I should not have any problem finding the right resources.

Thanks for the welcomes -- some pics attached. This is our 3rd black vehicle in a row... must be a glutton for punishment.

I've already started a list of things that I'd like to do, but first need to let the checkbook (...and the wife) recover
