While I'm not impressed with the stock continentals I was amazed at the Treg's 4x4 system. The roads were snow packed but it felt like I was on dry pavement. The traction control only activated a few times and then only when I was forcing the issue. I've only had the Treg a month but I'm really starting to think I made the right choice.

I agree with what you said. The TOUAREG is awesome in the snow. The 4WD system is very forgiving when you have crappy tires underneath you.

The combination of the vehicle's weight and 4WD system appear to make this thing unstoppable. (yes, I know weight can also be a killer, but you've got to know how to work it to your advantage).

We had 3-6 inches on the road last Wednesday - roads were about as bad as I've ever seen them - T handled unbelievably. I also must say that this ESP thing is not a fad - its seriously one of the best systems I've ever seen. Fuel injection, ABS, ESP - seriously its as good as anything I've ever seen put into a car. I coudln't force the vehicle to get out of line - it would understeer, oversteer, retard accel, brake, it was simply amazing!

That being said its in the shop now broke for some reason....
