Took the Treg in for the 60k service... Here is the list from the dealer of what is not covered, and the cost:
1. 60,000 mile scheduled maintenance service without fuel filter $630.00
2. Clunking noise from stepper motor when turning; software update $110.00
3. Rear seat release latch broken; replacement $420.00
4. Rear park assist stays red; replacement of left & right rear sensors $550.00
5. TPMS light stays on; replace right fornt sensor, $230.00
6. Right side lower exterior body molding loose; replacement $95.00
7. Both front tires worn to 4/32, rear tires 6/32; replacement of all 4 tires at once is required with 4WD vehicles. $1,925.00
8. $ wheel alignment after tire replacement $129.95
9. Front brake pads have 5% pad material remaining; replecement of frotn brake pads, rotors and sensors $885.00
10. Rear brake pads have 3% pad life remaining; replacement of rear brake pads, rotors and sensors $830.00
All above-listed items not covered by extended service contract; all items listed below are eligible/authorized for coverage with zero deductible:
1. Replace rear hatch glass supports
2. Replace prop shaft
3. Replace access/start authorization module
I realize the tires, pads, and rotors are not covered, but the costs presented by the dealer are outrageous! I'm wondering if anyone else has got the tpms and stepper motor update covered under warranty. Those are 2 things I don't think I should be paying for.
