Good evening all, i hope you are all keeping well.
Sending this post as my local VW service dept. has no idea on the faults and why they are happening, so going to ask you guys and girls if you have come across any of these and maybe what the problem is.
1/ Roughly every month i am getting the exhaust workshop warning come up, but when we wash the car it disappears... its like the car telling me it needs a wash.. LOL, I do not give it one of these premium washes, just a normal jet-wash and not doing the underneath, but everytime the warning goes, any ideas why this is...
2/ Last few months, after 2 new batteries the car sometimes doesn't start after leaving it overnight. Interior lights are all off, have no blown bulbs, seat heaters switched off, etc etc. But one time my wife said that when she turned the alarm on, the radio was still playing, i haven't experienced this yet. The VW service dept. said it may be the starter motor... ???? How !!!!... After it was giving a overnight diagnostic, it came up with no faults.. Took to my local mechanic and he charged the battery overnight and no problems for a while and then it happens again..
has anyone come across any of these problems, who may be able to give a idea of what's wrong...
