Has anyone with a v6 tried putting tips on ? The v8 looks so much better with their exhaust. I saw the one on TregCentral but dont know if I want to go through all the trouble of welding. Just thought about buying some $20 tips from Auto Shop and trying them...

I have investigated this and think you will have to cut and weld pipes if you want the tips to extend and not hit the rear facia.

I have put aftermarket tips on my V6. I had to have some work done on the pipes to make them look ok. Check out my photo album for how they came out.
