Hello,

I have a 2004 Touareg V6. The battery would not start it in the sub zero the other day so had to jump start it. Everything was fine after jumping it. Replaced the battery yesterday and not the seat heat wont turn on either side and the lights around the stereo volume and tuner knob stay on??? Any ideas would be helpful. I have checked every fuse and found all were good.

Sounds like you have some shorts going on..... look at the driver's side wiring running down the "door sill" area.... lots of users have found rot there!

Another 2004 V6 here ! This is promising for fixing my vr6 :)
Sorry can't help with the current issue except adding a full check of all the fuses.
Here is how to do it without removing the fuses using a multimeter:
