Gday read the threads on ECU remapping and need some further advice.
I have a 2013 v6 7p 180 kw and have been towing for a bit. car has 210k on the clock and wondering if remapping would be a wise thing to do considering the age.
Also I am in Brisbane Australia and can anyone recommend a trusted provider here?
I have a 3k camping/ towing in near future and wanna make sure that if I do this, the car won't fail.
Thanks in advance

ECU remap that is done wisely, will not harm your car. Aisin gearbox has capability to hold that power after remap. Sure, there are different versions of torque convertors based on type of engine, but you will be fine. Optimal parameters after remap should be 217kw and 630Nm (approx). After engine modifications it can go higher, but it will lower engine lifespan.

My 180KW 7P has 250k km on the clock and has been maintained well.

I got it remapped on a dyno a few months ago by a friend who did a very good job of the tune. The only issue I've had since is having to replace a couple of the copper injector seat washers, but they are the originals so i'd have been doing them soon anyway.

How much did you get from it after remap?

This is a question that has been "bothering" me too. I have a 2015 facelift model, 262hp.

My problem is that I also have the 4xMotion package, with the diff locks and the low range gear.
I know that the torsen based one can take it pretty well, but I was wondering about this one if it's same? I was thinking about the same thing, the standard 217kw which I see everywhere.

4xMotion is not so much different. My neighbor has same setup as you and tuned to 215kW without issue.

I assume the differentials can take it, I was only worried about the transfer case being the non-torsen one that it might not be designed for torque increase.

I know because the V8 version is only available with the torsen center diff inside the case, and that one is probably the same as the V6 so it can easily take the power increase. While the 4xMotion is exclusively designed for the V6.
