When braking on off ramps that are downhill and bearing to the right, a loud clunk occurs from the drive train that seems to be coming from the center differential when the transmission is downshifting as the vehicle slows. This occurs on an irregular and infrequent basis so far. I have a 2004 with V6 and 103,000 miles. A prop shaft was replaced under extended warranty at 70K, but this is the only drive train probelm encountered to date. Systems replaced under warranty have included valve covers; ignition coils; rear hatch shocks, latch and wiring; AC condenser and compressor; catalytic converter and muffler; plus the recall items like switches, wiring harnesses and computer upgrades.
