Hi,

I have a 2006 v6 Touareg and I got the brake assist and esp warning light a few months ago. It came about 3 weeks after replacing front and rear pads. I pulled the wheels again and checked my work along with the brake wear sensors and wires. I also pulled and replaced the speed sensors on each hub. I have had the code read and it comes up with the fault "Brake Pressure Sensor G201, Sporadic 012-Electrical Fault Circuit" ........it snowed here yesterday and I drove in it. Im not sure if i am hyper sensitive because of the warning lights but it seemed like i had no traction control working at all. The abs works fine or seems to. I have also replaced the brake pedal light switch. The brakes feel good and I have good pressure in the pedal
Any ideas??

g201 error fixed

UPDATE! So I took the plunge and ordered the brake pressure sensor $115 at the dealer. It took me about three hours to install. The most difficult part was disconnecting the wires from the sensor (very tight working area). It is not a difficult fix, just very tight space to work in.

Cleared the code after and all is well.
