So, after following this thread...
It's evident that the VR6 Touareg and the V10 have the same diff ratios. But are they literally the same diffs? And are they interchangeable without issues, like the torque handling the V10 driveline needs to be able to handle?
The reason I ask is I have a VR6 that I bought as a right-off a number of years ago I've been useing as a parts donor. But was never sure if the diffs were actualy the same, or a lighter, less robust version. If they're the same, I'll seriously think about using them in the V10 I own. They would have a lot less wear and tear coming out of the V6 than the ones in the V10.
Any thoughts?..
