Heh! Heh! At least you're man enough to own up!! I suspect other long time owners have discovered it from threads like these and then kept schtum!

Perhaps the real tits are folk who can't find the rubber ones!!

More than one well clued-up used car buyer has surprised a long term T1/T2 Touareg owner who was selling their car by opening the rear hatch!

I wonder if GFInterceptor has found the other two rubber tits on his car . . .

Your tailgate glass OPENS. They ALL did until the T3 arrived.

Have you found the small rubber tit on the underside of the black "triangular" rear wiper arm base?

Squeeze it and the glass opens unless the micro switch has failed - a very common fault.

The letter suffix normally only indicates a modification or change of supplier over the history of that part, not a totally different part.

Will the piston shaft not rotate at all?

LOL.... I like that Ckeeler! I guess I just pulled one here... ha ha ha
So do I . . . but THIS is the C Keeler I remember . . . Christine Keeler as a young lady in the early 1960s at the heart of a UK government sex scandal quite the equal of cigar loving Bill Clinton!

See post #24 onwards.

It became a bit of an in-joke around that time when someone misspelt a word!

You obviously haven't read all the posts in this thread . . .

Luber is a vital piece of equipment required to effectively carry out this task, something known only to true ClubTreggers!

Have you got the all important luber ready?

No luber, no fix!

Ha, luber makes its appearance if only by omission! Well done.

Happy Luber Year!!

What was I thinking...you're so right. $1298.50 would be a more realistic price. Besides it does qualify as a special tool, its not like you can get it at your local tool retailer!
That's more like it!

I'm going to make Touareg specific pieces of luber and sell them at VW dealer prices...lets see, cost of luber would be about $3.19, cost of cut would be around $0.03 in electricity...soooo....I figure $298.50 would be a reasonable list price :D
Look, if VW can charge hundreds of bucks of for duff drive shaft then a perfectly good piece of hand crafted luber which will outlast the shaft has to be worth much more than $298.50!

Not an uncommon Touareg fault I'm afraid.

Good addition to the how-to. Well done!

Excellent!

The other use for this video is that it shows people how to get to the rear wash wipe fluid pipe that can burst if your washer fluid strength is not up to scratch!

Winter is coming so start increasing the strength of that washer fluid NOW before you get caught out one sharp morning!

I'd like to know about lowering the headlining too.

I looked at lowering it and thought better of it when my rear screen washer tubing split after freezing because I had not yet put the winter strength screen wash fluid into the reservoir.
