I followed your instructions and tried to purchase with your discount but there is no place to enter a code for the discount when checking out using paypal. How do you enter the code touareg to receive the $99.00 price?

What you will want to do is press the “Buy Now” button on the website. This will take you to the “Purchase Online” section. There is a pull-down menu with two options. You want to select the wrench with case option ($150 retail). Then press “Add to Cart”. This will then take you to a window where there is a space to enter your zip code as well as a coupon code. This is where you want to enter “touareg”. Then press “Update Cart” and the $99 price will appear. You can then check-out using Paypal or Google-Checkout. You can also use a credit card if you do not have a Paypal account, but you still need to press the Paypal button. Please let me know if this does not solve the problem for you.

I bought one of these earlier this month......very nice wrench.....very user friendly......I took off my summer wheels and mounted up my winter wheels and used it to torque my lug bolts to 180 NM......;)

Well worth the money in my opinion !

Still waiting for Brownlinemetal to let me know what the shipping is as I'm looking at a Craftsman drill press that I could really use...

I'd just like to give a word of caution. It's a great feature to have a reversible torque wrench but it's really of limited use. You shouldn't use it to judge the torque setting of any bolt that's been on there for a while. For example, if you change your rotors and remove the calipers, since they've been there for over 40k miles, they've no doubt frozen in place with heat and cold. The reading you'll get (assuming it's under 150ft/lbs) is NOT to be used to determine what they were initially torqued at...

Just a word to the wise.

For the calipers for example, half inch is what you need.

Already have a half inch torque wrench, my 3/8" is dial type, which would necessitate the need for a replacement.

Can you not use a 1/2" to 3/8" adapter on this?

I would contact the seller and see whether a 3/8 to 1/2 inch adapter will affect the readings.
