A simple question, for normal daily driving is the nob suppose to be pushed down or is it to be released so that the knob extended up

Just leave it in the down position. You never have to do anything with ut under normal driving conditions. Goes down so you don't have to worry about bumping them or breaking them.

Thank you, when in down position do I leave it on high or low, when In the down position
Are the high, low, auto dif. Light suppose to stay on

Low range is only used if you are off road and on a loose surface. Never should be used on paved dry roads. Just leave it turned to the far left when normal driving.
