Deleting the 3.0TDI

I know this has been discussed at many lengths, but I am taking delivery of my new-to-me 2014 Touareg TDI tomorrow. I live in Alberta, Canada and do not require emissions testing. I called VW with the VIN of the car and they confirmed the dieselgate warranty is up December 2024 with about 50,000kms to spare from the odometer now. I will be looking to delete probably much sooner than that. I've dealt with Rawetek on this stuff before and would be buying their DPF delete kit. Would you guys leave the remaining hardware in such as the DEF tank? I see lots of guys deleting their units but no mention of if they ripped the DEF tank out or just kept it in. I would then plan to go Malone stage 2, should I buy block off plates for the EGR or is tuning it out enough? Just feels like keeping the useless hardware in is wrong, but if everyone does it that way for simplicity, then I'll do it too. And is it worth it to delete the cat and buy their straight pipe?
Absolutely delete the egr and cooler else you'll have issues down there line. Heaven forbid hydrolock from cooler leaking into cylinders

That was my thought point, but the idea of ripping all that out seems to be not so common. It’s like mostly everyone deletes the DPF, and the rest is just deactivated with the software tune. In my mind, I’d like to get the def tank out, egr assembly removed and blocked off, with coolant lines bypassed etc.I just can’t seem to find a kit that will do all that
Most people deleting these expensive machines can't afford (it seems...) to George properly. Do throttle valves while you're at it. There's 1 or 2 companies making coolant bypass for these.

Updating nav you're taking you're own life into your hands 😂

I did delete kit on my Volkswagen Touareg two years ago and it was the best thing I could’ve ever done. My warranty is up and I was having to replace everything to do with the ad Blu system. it was almost almost $4000 and then I found somebody to do the delete kit. It’s been so nice with no countdown going to the dealership all the time to have it fixed. But I was curious does it raise the value of your vehicle? or lower it ?Does anybody know?
Depends on the situation. Lots of brodozers are doing this lately, so my first request would be oil receipts to verify proper VW-SPEC, fuel filter change receipts, I'd look and see if you're running cheap tires, I'd check brakes and I'd done recently ask for receipts to confirm they're oem, and I'd look at overall cleanliness. If all of that can be confirmed and I feel less like it's been brodozered I'd be more comfortable contemplating it. If any of those checks fails, it tells me the car was likely beat on, the owner couldn't afford to properly maintain it, and I'd move on.
