I have the 55w kit installed from DDM Tuning on my Treg on both Low Beams and Fogs and never got any Check Light go off.

EDIT: My T-Reg is a 2007 v6, I never used any modules and I did the vagcom for HID and turned off DRL.

It kind of is plug and play, with the kit you should've received a set of wires that have small metal tabs at one end (one for + and one for -) and on the other side is the connector that fits onto the ballast. What you do is you pry the lowbeam cover off and you should see a connecter that plugs right onto the two bulb terminals. Those metal tabs at the end of the wires that came with the HID kit plug into that connector; it's a snug fit so they won't come apart. Then just stick the HID's into the headlight, make a whole in the rubber seal to feed the wires out and connect everything together. Hope this helps. Problem is you might need the modules b/c you have the 35w kit, the Treg runs 55w.

I just received ddm tuning 35watt 5000k h7 headlight and h11 fogs. My question is how did you guys wire the ballast into the stock harness seeing as how this is not a plug and play item with the stock halogen headlights.

Would the fact I got the 35 watt cause the lights to not fire up? I only tried the headlights first.

No, they should fire right up, check your wiring. Make sure that you got + and - wired up correctly. I believe brown with a black stripe is - and brown is + ie: black wire goes to brown with black stripe and red goes to brown. Also make sure you pushed the headlight back into its plug. I know it's stupid to state that but sometimes it's just an oversight
