This may sounds nit picky but I like the way the rear seat footwell lights come on when I open the rear door. I wondered if there was a setting that would turn on the two rear overhead lights so I can see on the rear seat? I believe this is more of an issue when I leave the car after closing the driver door and come back to get more things out and the top lighting has already turned off and when you open the rear doors you get no new initiation of rear overhead lighting. I just wonder if any of you all had information about the triggers from the rear door lock module? Are the customizable? Thanks for any and all information.

So you want to replace the pin in the switch with your own wire instead of just tapping into the existing wire?

If I was wanting to do what I think you are, I'd just pick up on the existing rear foglight plug\harness that's already in your rear bumper and use that. Isn't that easier?

I haven't physically checked myself for the wire.
You said you have the specific wiring diagrams for your vehicle. Don't they indicate if the rear fog wire is there?

I think you're trying to do something quite simple in one of the most difficult ways.
I bet if you check you WD you'll see what's already there.

Just do it and set the record straight (if the info I've provided is correct)..... might help others avoid all this nonsense for something that should be pretty straight forward.
