Ok guys I have a problem.. my low oil pressure light keeps coming on after driving a short way, once I stop at a light or stop sign it resets and then comes back on. I also noticed I cant take the oil fill cap off when the engine is running. when I pull the dip stick out I can hear a lot of vacuum sound. and I can feel the vacuum when I pull the dip stick. so are these related? and is the crank case supposed to have that much vacuum? thanks for the help

Ok as not to waste anyone's time. I found out the vacuum is normal. that leaves me with a check engine light that has been on for a while. the code says cam sensor bank 2... just had both cam sensors changed! Oil was changed 300 miles ago! I also have a low oil pressure warning that comes and go's . looking to trade it in so I would like to get the oil warning light to go away!! going to change the oil and filter again on Friday and change the oil pressure sensor also. if there is any other fixes I need to look at please advise.. Thanks

First, you need to do an oil pressure test immediately. Any further driving is at your own risk.
The oil pressure test will verify if you have a genuine problem or if the oil pressure sensor is faulty - pray for the latter. A faulty PCV will cause the engine to consume a lot of oil.
It is very common on the V6.
The low oil pressure warning will not trigger below 1500rpm on a VW so be very careful!!!

Regarding the cam codes, is it incorrect correlation with the crank or otherwise? Hate to point this out bit the V6 is infamous for shi**ing guides and giving cam sensor fault codes. Engine removal or if you can find a willing sole, transmission removal and work on it in place, which sucks ba**s.

Others may disagree but I'm recommending a gallon of gas and a box of matches / sarc off.

Let us kbow how you get on....
