Hi everyone.. I'm getting ready to replace the engine mounts and was wondering if anyone has any opinions about Corteco mounts. On fcpeuro's site it says that they are made in Germany, plus they are covered by fcpeuro's lifetime warranty.
All mechanics I've talked to recommend against aftermarket engine mounts, but I'm assuming they mean cheap Chinese ones.
Appreciate any advice on this.

What is the difference in price between VW and these?

ill be doing the same here soon........ ill be using Corteco mounts, as i belive them to be the OEM. Big difference in price.....im seeing $260-$270 for VW.......Roughly $85-$90 for OEM.

Cheapest OE that I found was from vwpartsvortex.com for $204 each. FCPEuro sells a complete kit with two mounts and their bolts for about $185.
