I just got my treg yesterday. My compass/clock turns off after about 10 seconds...is there any way to keep this on all of the time???

The dealer can do that for you or you can use a VAGCOM to make the change. There is a very early TSB on that.

I especially enjoy the section of the manual that says there's absolutely no way on Earth that the compass can be made to be on all the time. LOL!

Mine came from the dealer in a mode that stays on all the time... I am okay with it being on all the time (unless this ultimately pushes me into a Touareg battery problem!), but I would love to know if there is some way I can dim the light in it... It is just a tad too bright on dark night runs... with everything else going on in the cockpit, I feel like I'm in stage lights!

If anyone knows of dimming methods, please let me know... I don't get much response when I push ANY of the buttons on the unit...
