What colour is the car?

 

White. Not a bright brilliant white but a very slight off-white…can’t remember the VW name…

Very subtle…unless you know it you only really see it when she is parked next to an appliance white car…

Two different types of lighting, maybe of help in reaching a conclusion?

 

Black to match other trim.

 

I considered black but decided against it…no completely objective reason really…and the missus immediately liked the gunmetal /charcoal idea…

Which makes me think the right shade of gunmetal rims and yellow calipers?🧐

 

I think the R50 had blue calipers. but for me it would be Brembo Red with Gunmetal Grey.

 

Hi yes the R50 has Blue Callipers with 22 inch alloys, and to anyone who knows Toureg,s they know an R 50 has blue 6 pot Brembo.s on the front and 4 pot on the rear. Also the colour of mine is white but it is creamy and this colour is only used on this model, I am in Bedfordshire England and there are only 2 white R 50.s in the country

 

I used Duplicolor graphite grey on my "Campanella white" T2. The silver was too plain and I didn't want black. Works for me especially for a rattle can job

 

And red calipers I see!

Black or gunmetal looks great on white paint

 

painted mine matte black, they also corrected some curb rash

 

hi, I’ve got gloss black wheels (21) on my V8. It came like that and really does look good. I did think about grey, this would also look nice, not sure on white though. Black with grey wheels would definitely work.

 

I know these are not the wheels you have or the exact car and color you have but I'm just throwing it up for an idea and visualization The wheels are matte and not gloss

Were 22 inchers an option as I thought 21s were on the R50 as standard fitment?
