Hello All

So I got my Touareg with some pavement rash on one front wheel…cosmetically ugly but not too serious I am told.

So I am having it fixed soon but then I thought why not break away from the bright silver and go a shade of gunmetal grey?

Normally I would balk at a thought like this and anything else not perfectly factory original…the wife actually likes the idea…

As per the sample image below I am considering something between the medium centre rim (too light) and the too dark one far right.

What say you?

White. Not a bright brilliant white but a very slight off-white…can’t remember the VW name…

Very subtle…unless you know it you only really see it when she is parked next to an appliance white car…

Much like the Landy😉

Two different types of lighting, maybe of help in reaching a conclusion?

I considered black but decided against it…no completely objective reason really…and the missus immediately liked the gunmetal /charcoal idea…

Which makes me think the right shade of gunmetal rims and yellow calipers?🧐

Hi yes the R50 has Blue Callipers with 22 inch alloys, and to anyone who knows Toureg,s they know an R 50 has blue 6 pot Brembo.s on the front and 4 pot on the rear. Also the colour of mine is white but it is creamy and this colour is only used on this model, I am in Bedfordshire England and there are only 2 white R 50.s in the country

I know these are not the wheels you have or the exact car and color you have but I'm just throwing it up for an idea and visualization The wheels are matte and not gloss
