I have a 2015 V8 R-line, great car to drive, especially on the highway but the suspension seems really clunky and almost like its loose.
I have had a good look around the suspension and can see no obviously worn/damaged parts.
Is this normal?
Could it just be the 21" rims/tyres?
Its only done 70,000klms and this is really disappointing.

I have a 2007 GTD Golf with twice the klms on it and it rides as quiet as a mouse around town....

Any advice would be appreciated..

Bushings wear out on the front suspensions of these vehicles. Ask some of the other guys for specifics. It is not a problem I have had to solve (yet) but I *think* you replace the front control arms to fix.

I was under the car for various other reasons yesterday and I noticed that the front bushing on the rear diff seems to be a long way off center. I reckon this is the clunking noise, I have had a look around this forum for a bit of info on it but the search function is not working. Have any of you had the same issue? It looks to be an absolute b*stard to get at and
change out!!
