Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but my wife has had her 2004 Touareg for almost 4 years now. It's been a great suv (except the expensive maintenance 
) and looking to fix a few problems.
Every so often, the headlights will flicker and the gauge display will say check headlights. The headlights will then turn off for a split second and then turn back on. I'm assuming a bulb is going out or the filament on the bulb is bad?
I checked and I have the D1S bulb which is crazy expensive just for one bulb. I assume thats what I need to get to fix the problem?
