Hi!

I have a 2004 touareg v10 TDI and the check engine light does not work. Even if i take off connectors on Air mass sensors etc to create fault codes. I can read out these fault codes i create, but no MIL. No fault codes eighter.

New original software in both ECU.
Checked LED in sntrument cluster. it workes, when i try it with current.

Anyone have seen this before?

Does the CEL illuminate for a few seconds when you turn on the ignition?

No, it doesent.
Wierd thing is when i read OBD 2 protocol, readiness in vcds, all of the monitoring system shows Not installed.

ive checked the wires under the carpet on driver side, the carpet is wet, but the wires looks ok
