Anybody had a disc stuck in the CD plyer. Have 05 V8 Blue Sliver just over one week and this has happened. Goes in for repir and Lo- jack install Monday.

Are you speaking of the CD player in combo with Nav unit or, CD Loader in the back of the car? I got a NAV CD stuck in the CD+Nav Unit. That was in November. :anger: They have replaced the nav unit but I cannot use nav system due to no return of CD from old nav unit. Had to go to the factory for extraction. Still waiting and it is 2.5 months later. So far, the new unit plays CD's fine. There was a TSB on the cd's getting stuck so you may want to check with the dealer.

I had the same problem with my 2004 V6 Touareg. I think Volkswagen has a technical service bulletin out on it that calls for replacement of the player. My dealer (Strong Volkswagen) took care of this recently and now everything works fine.

It was just a standard CD unit. No Nav. The dealership replaced the unit. :joy:

I had my unit replaced a couple weeks ago for the same problem. Now, the new unit is having the same stuck CD problem. I just insert a second CD part-way into the CD slot (gently!) and hit eject to get the stuck CD out.

Lotsa CD changer issues. Nevr put any but NAV CDs in the NAV. This has proven too risky. The tech said it might be due to using "burned" CDs, but it happens regularly with "labels". The usual VW thing is to replace the part, so new CD changer next service.

2005 V6 1 week old with CD stuck

same issues as listed above, CD stuck and this is the 2nd player they installed in my car in 1 week, very annoyed. dealer is faxing over the VW statement for me to bring to a dealership for them to fix again.

My problem changed from CD stuck in the player to CDs randomly ejected from the new CD player during play.
Dealer cannot duplicate this problem. The stuck CD is obvious. Be Glad!

I have the same ongoing/sporatic problem in my '04 V6 (no nav.). I'm waiting for the next service to get resolution.

I have the standard CD player and already had mine replaced and the new one does the same thing and freezes up.I have not taken it back as of yet because i play my ipod all the time so i am in no rush.I do plan on getting it replaced or fixed here sometime soon though.

My 2003 Passat has had problems with CDs getting stuck, but I think a TSB was performed at my last service.

My Touareg's CD player (Sound I) is really touchy when it comes to switching tracks. Sometimes I will try to skip a song and it thinks about it for a second, then either advances the song 5 seconds or skips to the next track (taking another second or so). I thought I was pushing the button for too long, so I switched to the right knob. This has not helped. Anyone else have this problem? Do I have a bad CD player or is it just the way the Touareg CD player performs?

I have the problem sometimes too. I actually push up and away on the top part of the opening to free the stuck disc. it usually pops right out.
